Adult Camp (19 and up)
A couple years ago we started an adult camp. We decided that it would be fun to do a session made specifically for adults. Snowboarding with other adults and taking advantage of the world-class nightlife Whistler has to offer in the summertime. We snowboard all day up on the glacier. Then head down to relax at the beach or poolside before enjoying all the patio bars and restaurants in the village.
Adults have joined us in our regular sessions since the beginning of Glacier Snowboard Camp back in 1996 and are still more than welcome to join us in all our sessions. Our one on one coaching format allows adults get the most out of our coaches without feeling like they are in a camp for teens. They often get far more out of the camp than our younger campers.
Adult campers really understand the caliber of coaches and how hard they are working to give them the most they possibly can. In general, they often pick up more from the coaching and improve very rapidly. Also they really enjoy hitting the town and hanging out with our coaches and staff, seeing Whistler through local eyes. Skipping the lineups at the clubs, meeting lots of interesting locals and pros. Not that this session is devoted to partying, far from it. Snowboarding is still first and foremost. But this camp will be run with the adult in mind.
